Our warranty is simple. Any Gatti Fly Rod purchased from an authorized Gatti Fly Rod dealer or from Gatti Fly Rods, LLC directly is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
Warranty
Gatti Fly Rods are warranted for defects of material and workmanship for the lifetime of the original owner or designated heir (normal wear is excluded). We will repair or replace the damaged rod at our discretion and expense under the following conditions:
- Rod breakage or component failure occurred while angling.
- The original owner, or designated heir, presents the damaged rod to us for warranty evaluation at they’re expense.
- The rod warranty is registered within 30 days from the date of purchase (see below).
What we will not cover: (The way most rods are broken)
Using the rod for purposes other than angling: buffoonery, like poking things i.e., friends, snakes, racoon etc, …ya a racoon never ends well.
Unintentional damage: doors, tailgates, oar locks, chewing dogs etc.
Normal wear and tear: rods take on memorable cosmetic enhancement…it’s called patina.
Shipping to us for evaluation: A) if it’s our fault we pay shipping back. B) your fault we don’t
Bottom Line:
If it’s our fault, we warrant it. If not, we’ll repair it (if possible) quickly at a fair price.
